Salford Festival of Singing

Join us as we take part in the first ever Salford Festival of Singing, bringing together choirs from across the city for an afternoon celebrating community, music and the joy of singing.

This event is especially important for Local Vocals as we’re launching our brand new Eccles choir, making it a brilliant opportunity to introduce ourselves to local people and help our new choir get off to the best possible start.

The more singers we have representing Local Vocals, the bigger the impact we’ll make. Whether you’re from Eccles or Boothstown, we’d love you to come along, sing your heart out and help show Salford what Local Vocals is all about.

The event is free for friends and family to attend, so feel free to invite anyone who’d like to come along and support us.

Exact arrival and performance times will be confirmed nearer the event once we’ve received the final schedule from the organisers.

Please wear your Local Vocals uniform. If you don’t have one, a plain black T-shirt is absolutely fine.

This performance is about much more than singing three great songs... it’s an opportunity to help George establish Local Vocals in Salford and grow our new Eccles choir. Every singer on stage helps us make a bigger impression, reach more people and inspire others to come and give Local Vocals a try. We hope you’ll be part of it!
