Our wonderful community choir in Clitheroe meets every Wednesday at the marvellous Trinity Methodist Church. With its beautiful space and fantastic acoustics, it’s the perfect place to lift your voice, meet new people, build confidence and combat loneliness through the joy of singing.
Led by local choir leader George Harry Jones, our Clitheroe choir is a vibrant community of local people who come together each week for music, connection and a good sing.
No experience needed and especially perfect for anyone who’s always told themselves they ‘can’t sing’ because we believe everybody can and SHOULD sing! Join us every Wednesday from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

Meet George Harry Jones, the friendly face behind Burnley’s Local Vocals!
George brings energy, encouragement, and a real love of music to every session.
With a background in music, performance, and teaching, George brings both experience and enthusiasm to every rehearsal.
He’s all about making singing feel fun, relaxed, and accessible, helping people build confidence while enjoying great music together.
Whether you’re a confident singer or a complete beginner, he’ll have you laughing, learning, and singing your heart out in no time.

Hosted weekly during term time at Trinity Methodist Church in Clitheroe, our wonderful community gathers every Wednesday from 11:00am to 12:30pm.
Set within a marvellous church space with naturally fantastic acoustics, it’s the perfect place to express ourselves, sing out loud and enjoy the uplifting feeling of making music together. The venue provides a welcoming space in the heart of Clitheroe to connect with others, build confidence and experience the joy of singing together.
No auditions & no musical experience required
If you love music and love to sing along to the radio, you will love Local Vocals!
We don’t read music and there are no auditions so our rehearsals are a safe space for you to simply enjoy singing together. You never have to sing alone and you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are there to give you the confidence you need.
Support local charities
The ethos of our choir centres around supporting our local communities through the joy of singing! So far, we have supported several local charities including Derian House, East Lancashire Hospice and Lancashire Mind and we regularly perform and collaborate with local charities to fundraise in a fun and unique way.
