Meet Sally – the welcoming and inspiring voice behind our Wilmslow's Local Vocals!
With a lifelong love of music and over 20 years of experience in teaching and performance, Sally brings both warmth and expertise to every session.
From performing with choirs in London to teaching music in schools, she’s all about helping people grow in confidence and enjoy singing together.
Her approach is supportive, inclusive, and full of encouragement, creating a space where everyone feels comfortable to join in, no matter their experience.
No auditions, no pressure - just great songs, a friendly atmosphere, and a choir leader who truly believes in the power of singing to bring people together. Come along to Wilmslow and meet Sally!

All About Our Choir in Wilmslow, Cheshire
Hosted weekly at Wilmslow URC, our Wilmslow community gathers every Thursday, 7 pm - 8:30 pm with Sally.
With naturally good acoustics due to high ceilings and large community areas, the space is the perfect place to express ourselves in a safe and comfortable environment, with parking on site and full access.
No auditions & no musical experience required
If you love music and love to sing along to the radio, you will love Local Vocals!
We don’t read music and there are no auditions so our rehearsals are a safe space for you to simply enjoy singing together. You never have to sing alone and you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are there to give you the confidence you need.

The ethos of our choir centres around supporting our local communities through the joy of singing together. Whether we're busking, performing at concerts, taking part in recording projects & many other weird and wonderful things(!), we really do have the best time as a community whilst doing good for our local communities.
