George brings energy, encouragement, and a real love of music to every session.
With a background in music, performance, and teaching, George brings both experience and enthusiasm to every rehearsal.
He’s all about making singing feel fun, relaxed, and accessible, helping people build confidence while enjoying great music together.
Whether you’re a confident singer or a complete beginner, he’ll have you laughing, learning, and singing your heart out in no time.

About your local choir in Padiham, Burnley
Hosted weekly during term time at Padiham Town Hall Ballroom, nestled in the town of Padiham, our Burnley community gathers every Wednesday, 7 pm - 8:30 pm.
With naturally amazing acoustics due to spectacular high ceilings, the space is the perfect place to express ourselves and belt it out loud and proud! The venue is fully accessible with plenty of parking on site.
No auditions & no musical experience required
If you love music and love to sing along to the radio, you will love Local Vocals!
We don’t read music and there are no auditions so our rehearsals are a safe space for you to simply enjoy singing together. You never have to sing alone and you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are there to give you the confidence you need.
Support local charities
The ethos of our choir centres around supporting our local communities through the joy of singing. So far, we’ve supported a wide range of local charities and community organisations including Derian House Children’s Hospice, East Lancashire Hospice, Lancashire Mind, Crossroads Care East Lancashire, North West Cancer Research, Burnley Youth Theatre, The Hub and Nightsafe, alongside many other brilliant local causes.
We regularly perform and collaborate with charities and community groups to raise funds in fun, creative and meaningful ways.
