All About Our Choir in Leeds, Yorkshire
Hosted weekly at Lister Hill Baptist Church, nestled in the town of Horsforth. Our Leeds community gathers every Wednesday, 7 pm - 8:30 pm.
With naturally good acoustics due to high ceilings and large community areas, the space is the perfect place to express ourselves in a safe and comfortable environment.
No Auditions & No Musical Experience Required
If you love music and enjoy singing along to your favourite songs, Local Vocals is for you.
There is no need to read music and no auditions to join. Our rehearsals are designed as a relaxed, welcoming space where you can simply enjoy singing as part of a group.
You will never be asked to sing solo, and you will be surrounded by supportive, like-minded people who help build your confidence.

Tia Williams
Meet Your Leeds Choir Leader
Tia is a vocalist, songwriter and choir leader with a wide range of experience. Having a strong background in live performance and inclusive music education. She trained at LIPA Sixth Form College before studying Studio Pop Vocals at Leeds Conservatoire.
Performing professionally since the age of 15, Tia has built experience across choirs, bands and large-scale live events. She sings with the LC Pop Choir, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2025 and have performed at the Royal Albert Hall.
Alongside her work as a performer, Tia teaches music with Mind the Gap, the UK’s largest learning disability theatre company. She also fronts her band, Little Planets, performing at major festivals to audiences of up to 13,000 people.
Tia is passionate about making choir sessions welcoming, enjoyable and inclusive. She aims to help people grow in confidence, connect with others and experience the joy of singing in a supportive space.

There's lots of shared fun and laughter, with talented and experienced Choir Leaders, who make the whole experience invaluable.'
