Rochdale Side-By-Side Festival outside the beautiful Rochdale Town Hall in a lovely new park!

We need as many singers as we can get to look AND sound fabulous!

Arrival - 12.15pm at Rochdakle Town Hall (covered Marquee)

Singing 12.45-1.15pm approx

NB we will be in the covered Marquee outside Rochdale Town Hall - please arrive for 12.15pm and check in with Phil/other members and find your harmony section.

The plan is to start with RISE UP led by a soloist and all choir members come in on the first pre-chorus "MOVE" - so NOT in formation but more in a mini flashmob style (by the 1st chorus you will all be lined up in normal choir formation)

Set List - hopefully ALL the below!:

***Rise Up - NB we will start this in a mini 'flashmob style' so a soloist will sing the first couple of lines until "MOVE"***

The Chain Uniform: Any LV t-shirt - or if you are a newer member, anything black will be fine!

Parking:

*** some metered parking on nearby, or it's very close to Rochdale Tram Station/Bus Station ***

ASDA is also a 5-10 min walk away

Gig etiquette: 

1.) On arrival, please group in your voice parts and wait for instructions on lining up 

2.) Once we have lined up and are ready to start, please refrain from talking for the duration of the performance, unless directed otherwise 

3.) Please do not use your phone or lyric sheets during performances            

4.) Choir members do not need to be grouped in height order necessarily but it is important that those on the front row know all of the words and remember to smile! Mixing up the front row should be encouraged 

5.) If you don't have LV uniform, please wear a plain black top                         

6.) Smile and enjoy performing as a community!!
