THE BIG DAY OUT IN LEEDS!

We are so excited for a big day out in Leeds to support our new Yorkshire choirs 🥰 We will be performing a flashmob and also a full set, and then the rest of the day is your own to do a bit of shopping, grab some food or do some sight seeing. We'd love a MASSSSIVE choir to get involved in this day out so we can belt it out loud and proud. We can't wait to see you there!

Set List: 2pm - Flashmob song - Happy Together

1.) Choir members are dotted around the street, looking inconspicuous and busy mingling! In groups of three or less, wearing a cover over their LV t-shirt 2.) Soloist starts to sing Verse 1 outside of M&S in the street 3.) Choir members react - 'ooo, isn't she good?!' etc 4.) Choir members start to sing wherever they are stood in Verse 2 5.) Chorus 1 - choir members walk into choir formation behind the soloist

6.) Chorus 2 - choir members take off their layer to reveal the LV logo! 7.) The song finishes, choir members immediately disperse and go about their day 2.30pm - full set Choir meets outside M&S on the street at 2.30pm to sing a full set together Best Of My Love Iris When Love Takes Over Wings The Chain Happy Together

Uniform: Any LV t-shirt - or if you are a newer member, anything black will be fine!

Gig etiquette: 

• Please do not use your phone or lyric sheets during performances            

• Choir members do not need to be grouped in height order necessarily but it is important that those on the front row know all of the words and remember to smile! Mixing up the front row should be encouraged 

• If you don't have LV uniform, please wear a plain black top                         

• Smile and enjoy performing as a community!!

• Please do not vape during performances       

TRANSPORT TO LEEDS Lots of train links from Lancashire/Manchester to Leeds Alternatively, if enough people are interested in a bus, we can see if we can organise something to go together! Let us know at office@localvocalschoir.com
