About the event

This optional intensive workshop is designed to give us final dedicated rehearsal time ahead of Bridgewater Hall and to give us the chance to run ALL the songs one last time!

It will be held in my brand new Bury venue - a lovely church with PLENTY of car parking & near a bus stop!

Our services are normally Sunday at 11.00am. All Saints is part of the Parish of Kirklees Valley in the Diocese of Manchester. The Parish of Kirklees Valley is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults in all situations and online. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Manchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. 6.30pm - 9.30pm (half show 8-9.30pm approx)

Tickets: £20 for full show, £12 for those singing the half show, £5 for Zoom/Teams (if I can make it work!)

A minimum of £1 per person attending will be donated to North West Cancer Research

Over the three hours, we’ll work through ALL the songs for the full set, and focus on the details that make a difference on stage.

The session will include:

• Full warm up

• Full run through of the entire Bridgewater Hall set list

• Work on dynamics, musical contrast, phrasing, blending and performance skills to improve your confidence.

• Vocal technique and healthy singing habits

This session is designed to help us perform with greater confidence, consistency and impact as a choir.

As this is an optional additional rehearsal taking place outside of the regular Local Vocals programme, attendance is separate from normal choir membership.
