Our vibrant community choir in Wigan is known for it’s welcoming atmosphere and diverse repertoire. The choir brings together people from all walks of life, fostering connections through the power of music.
The choir performs at local events, contributing to the local community of Wigan. It’s emphasis on inclusivity and support ensures that everyone feels valued, making it a beloved fixture in the community.

No auditions & no musical experience required
If you love music and love to sing along to the radio, you will love Local Vocals!
We don’t read music and there are no auditions so our rehearsals are a safe space for you to simply enjoy singing together. You never have to sing alone and you will be surrounded by like-minded people who are there to give you the confidence you need.
Support local charities
The ethos of our choir centres around supporting our local communities through the joy of singing! So far, we have supported several local charities including Derian House, Lancashire Mind and Rosemere and we regularly perform and collaborate with local charities to fundraise in a fun and unique way.
