East Lancs Hospice Pub Walk Secret Flash Mob

I’ve been keeping this one quiet… but next Saturday (20th June), Local Vocals has been invited to perform a secret flashmob style opening performance at the Ribble Valley Pub Walk.

This is a brilliant opportunity to bring our choirs together and perform to a huge crowd before the event begins. The aim is simple: create a feel good atmosphere, get people involved and send everyone off with a smile.

No pressure, no complicated staging, just great songs, lots of voices and community spirit.

Performance slot: 10:25 to 10:55 am - please arrive by 9:50 am.

The starting point is at a car park, I have been told there will be plenty of parking.

Food, refreshments & toilets will be available.

There is disabled toilet access 5 minutes away from the car park at Tesco’s, Duck Street, Clitheroe, BB7 1LP. The car park is flat and all on one level.'

The start line is at Heidelberg Materials Cement (Ribblesdale), Clitheroe, where the opening ceremony will take place and where we’ll perform.

The car park will be open and we’ll gather shortly before the performance. Around 5 to 10 minutes beforehand, listen out for the DJ announcing “George’s team to X location” (likely near the front), and we’ll move into position together.

So far there's over 1600 attendees signed up... we need as many of you as possible to give them a great, surprise show!
